Firefighters from North Wales Fire and Rescue Service attended at a fire in Kronospan, Chirk. The call was received at 5.12pm on Monday 22^nd October.

The fire, involving two dust silos and a conveyor belt, was brought under control by 10.36am on Tuesday 23^rd October.

The cause of the fire has been established as a mechanical fault in the production area. No one was injured in the incident.
