Two people have been taken to hospital following a fire at a caravan in Caernarfon.

The incident happened at 11.45 pm on Friday May 4 at Plas Brereton in Bangor Road, Caernarfon.

A 47 year old man has been taken to Whiston Hospital for treatment for burns and his condition is described as stable.

A 45 year old woman has been taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd for treatment for smoke inhalation. Two appliances from Caernarfon attended the scene and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
