Firefighters have been dealing with a fire in a barn in Llanrhydd in Ruthin.

Crews were called at 06.05hrs and four appliances from Ruthin,Flint, Corwen and Buckley were mobilised to the scene.

On arrival, the barn containing approximately 20 tonnes of hay and feed was well alight. Firefighters tackled the fire using four hose reel jets and two sets of breathing apparatus.

As much hay as possible was removed from the barn to prevent further spread of the fire.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined.
