The emergency services were called to a house in Pennal, Gwynedd at 10.15am on Sunday November 16 after the body of a 26 year old man was discovered.

It was confirmed there had been a fire at the property prior to the arrival of the emergency services.  The death is not being treated as suspicious.

Chief Inspector Richie Green said; "North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service are carrying out a joint investigation into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident and I would appeal to anyone who may have information which may assist us, to call 101, quoting incident number R180626."
