A man has died following a fire involving a garden outbuilding in Llanaelhaearn, Gwynedd.

Emergency services were called to a property at Bryn Ffynnon this afternoon (Thursday 31st July).

Crews from Caernarfon and Pwllheli were mobilised at 14.54hrs to tackle a fire in the outbuilding which involved a gas cylinder.

The man who died at the scene was in his 70s.

A joint investigation by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police is now underway.
