Firefighters attended a fire in a property on Abergele Road, Colwyn Bay at 8.47pm last night (Monday 16^th March).

Crews from Colwyn Bay, Llandudno, Abergele and Rhyl attended the incident which was brought under control by 11.29pm.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus and hose reel water jets to extinguish the fire which caused fire damage to the living room and kitchen and smoke damage to the reminder of the property.There was also smoke damage to other properties within the building.

A joint investigation into the cause of the fire is being carried out by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police.
