Update on Storm Darragh – disruption continues across North Wales roads
Posted#StormDarragh severe weather conditions persist and as we approach nightfall there is a call for extreme care on North Wales roads.
Superintendent Owain Llewellyn said:
“Responders are working hard to clear roads across the region but the scale of disruption means it has been impossible to remove all fallen trees prior to nightfall.
“Warning signs may not be in place for many of these obstructions or localised flooding so please use extreme caution – avoid travelling if possible.
“Additional flood warnings have also been issued. Do not attempt to drive through flood water as this risks stranding vehicles and diverting emergency resources.
“Thanks again for your cooperation as we continue to protect communities during this challenging time.”
