Firefighters are currently in attendance at a fire at a nursing home in Trefnant, near Denbigh. They were called to reports of the fire at 17.36hrs today (Monday December 16).

Six crews of firefighters from St Asaph, Rhyl, Denbigh, Abergele and Prestatyn and the Aerial Ladder Platform and Incident Command Unit from Rhyl are at the scene tackling the fire using breathing apparatus, hose reels and main jets.

All residents have been safely evacuated from the building.
