Incident involving collapse of wall in Ruthin
PostedNorth Wales Fire and Rescue Service is currently in attendance at an incident in Ruthin involving the collapse of a wall onto a public footpath nearMill Street.
Appliances from Ruthin and Denbigh were mobilised to the incident at 13.10hrs today (Friday 17th May).
There is a significant amount of stone rubble as a result of the collapse, and firefighters are working together with partner agencies including North Wales Police and Denbighshire County Council to deal with the incident.
Two search and rescue dogs and have been used to check the rubble for casualties and arrangements are in place to ensure the wall does not continue to present a risk to the public.
Indications are that there are no casualties involved.
