Bullock rescued in Flintshire
PostedFirefighters were called to an incident on the banks of the River Deeat 3.10pm on Saturday 1st June. Crews from Deeside and ColwynBay attended the incident which involved a bullock trapped in the mud.
Ian Williams, Head of Response, said: "The Coastguard and Flint inshore lifeboat was training on the river at the time of the incident and they assisted us in carrying out this rescue.
"This incident highlights the importance of working in partnership with other organisations to be able to bring incidents into a safe conclusion.
The bullock was released prior to the tide coming in using equipment from the fire appliances and following his release walked back into the field without any injuries.
