Fire in Henllan, near Denbigh
PostedFire crews were called at 17.23hrs on Monday 24th March to a fire in a garage at Glasfryn in Henllan, near Denbigh.
The address comprises a terrace of bungalows with adjoining garages. Residents in the two properties adjoining the garage involved in the fire were a couple in their 60s and a couple in their 40s - and the two men are in hospital receiving treatment as a result of the incident.
The man in his 60s received treatment for shock by paramedics at the scene.
The other man in his 40s suffered burns to his hand and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Their partners were unharmed
Appliances from St Asaph, Ruthin and Rhyl were in attendance at the incident. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, three hose reel jets and one main jet to bring the fire under control by 19.01 hrs.
The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
