The fire at a recycling building onWrexhamIndustrial Park,Bryn Lane, Wrexham has now been extinguished.

Three crews from Wrexham, crews from Buckley, Deeside andJohnstownwere in attendance as well as the Incident Command Unit from Rhyl. The initial call was received at 11.56hrs today, Tuesday April 15.

The fire affected the conveyor belt area in the building which is currently under construction.

Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels and main jets to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading and are currently venting the property.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
