Crews attended a fire at a workshop on Vale Road, Rhyl at 16.56hrs today, Wednesday December 23.

An initial attendance was made by two appliances from Rhyl. Firefighters were confronted with a well developed fire, and appliances from Abergele, Colwyn Bay and Holywell as well as the Aerial Ladder Platform from Rhyl were deployed to the incident.

Sadly, a body has been found on the premises.

Residents in the local area were evacuated.

A full investigation into the cause of the fire is underway.
