Wrexham house fire
PostedA joint investigation has been launched after a man was taken to hospital following a fire at a property in Caia Park, Wrexham.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were alerted to the fire at a house in Bryn Hafod at 2.05am today, Saturday 14th February.
A 49-year-old man was taken to hospital by Ambulance suffering smoke inhalation.
Two appliances from Wrexham attended the scene and the fire was confined to the letter box.
The fire is believed to have been started deliberately and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service together with North Wales Police will carry out a joint investigation into the cause.
North Wales Fire and Rescue Service had been called to the same street, an hour earlier, following reports of two separate fires in a car and a skip.
None of the incidents are thought to be linked at this stage.
