Fire in Pentraeth
PostedFirefighters are in attendance at a fire in a fuel station on the A5025 in Pentraeth, Anglesey. The initial call was received at 04.03am this morning (Friday 3rd April).
Appliances from Menai Bridge, Llangefni, Beaumaris and two from Bangor as well as the aerial ladder platforms from Bangor and Rhyl, the incident command unit from Rhyl and a water carrier from Caernarfon are in attendance at the incident.
Firefighters are tackling the fire using breathing apparatus, main water jets, hose reel water jets and ground monitors. The Nant y Felin Estate has been evacuated and residents have been taken to the primary school in Pentraeth.
The A5025 is closed in Pentraeth and the public are asked to avoid the area.
Crews are still in attendance at present.
