North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to a report of a fire at a property on Waterfall Road, Dyserth at 4.20pm today (Friday 18^th September).

Crews from Rhyl, Abergele and Holywell attended the incident and on arrival were confronted with a well developed fire involving the first floor of a building.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and found the body of a woman.

A joint investigation by North Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Police is now underway.
