Emergency services have been called to a incident at a leisure centre in Llangefni, Anglesey.

North Wales Fire and Rescue Service mobilised a fire appliance from Llangefni at 10.57hrs this morning (Wednesday 8^th February) to Plas Arthur Leisure Centre.

Staff from Welsh Ambulance Service NHS Trust were also at the scene.

A group of school children were reported to have fallen ill whilst swimming at the leisure centre.

Their symptoms are not believed to be serious and the children are receiving treatment with a precautionary check by ambulance staff.

Emergency services are expected to remain at the scene whilst further assessments as to what caused the incident are carried out.
