Emergency services were called to a fire on St Asaph Avenue in Kinmel Bay earlier this evening at 17.44hrs.

Firefighters have now brought the fire under control but will remain at the scene for some time this evening tackling any hot spots and damping down.

Six fire appliances from Rhyl, Prestatyn, Abergele and Cowyn Bay currently remain at the incident.

The road remains closed at Denbigh Circle, Clwyd Park and St Asaph Avenue until further notice.

The evacuation advice for local residents is no longer in force and those who left their homes as a precaution are now able to return.
