North Wales Fire and Rescue Service was called to a minor fire at Bryn Tabor School in Coedpoeth this afternoon (Wednesday 12^th July).

Two fire appliances from Wrexham were mobilised to the incident at 13.42 hours.

The fire was confined to a kitchen area.

The fire alarm sounded and an evacuation of the school was successfully carried out with all persons safely accounted for.

Two female members of school staff received precautionary checks for minor smoke inhalation at the scene.

It is too early to say what caused the fire as officers are gathering details.

Everyone at the school has now been allowed back into the building.
